Adventurous Maternity Session

Becky & Anthony

Becky & Anthony are two dear friends of ours who are expecting their sixth baby!! I had the privilege of photographing their sweet pregnancy announcement way back in December, so I have been biding my time for the day we could orchestrate a full maternity session! They definitely rose to the occasion; when Becky told me that she wanted to take some pictures in the water and in the badlands I was SO excited to get to embrace a whole new look alongside the more traditional shots!

Not all of these locations were easy to access, but Becky didn’t even blink at climbing over barbed wire fence or jumping into cold water to get these shots!! She is always up for anything and willing to go the extra mile to get to gorgeous locations, which I appreciate so much! I think it’s clear to see that this entire family is so fun, full of joy, and always up for an adventure!

Becky was my matron-of-honour at my wedding 2.5 years ago, and she has been such a blessing and encouragement to me in countless ways! All throughout my relationship with Andrew, in all its stages, she has been such a support and source of wisdom for me. There is so much to be said for having someone you trust who has been doing this marriage thing for much longer than you have! Even though we live so far away from each other that our visits are not as frequent as I would like, every time I sit down with Becky it’s like hardly any time has passed at all (except for the evidence of it by a new baby here or there! 😉). There is always that same reassuring care, kindness, and friendship!

Becky & Anthony are such wonderful parents and I hope to be able to emulate their example when Andrew and I start our own family one day. It was so lovely to be involved with this exciting time in their lives; this anticipated baby girl is already so loved!!

Becky & Anthony, I loved getting to see you again and I am so happy to have been able to capture the love you have for each other and your excitement over your growing family! Blessings on your sweet family as you prepare to welcome a new little life into the world. We love you both so much!!
