Stringer Family
It was such a joy to photograph this gorgeous family session. They made for a wonderful last session of 2020!
Something really meaningful about this session was that these are potentially the last family photos that the Stringers will be able to have for a while! In just a couple of weeks, their daughter is moving to another country and immersing herself into a new world. When Daina asked me about photographing some winter portraits for them to capture their family before their kids fly off, I was thrilled at the prospect!
Daina and I have done photos commercially together for her business before and it was an absolute blast, so it was so lovely to be able to head to their family acreage and capture portraits for her and the rest of her family as well! All four of them are such joyful, engaging people and there was so much laughter throughout the entire session!
It’s not often that the perfect combination of bright sun, warm temperatures, AND stunning frost come together on the same day for a family session, but the stars aligned for this one!! I was so in love with this entire setup and am thrilled with how the images reflect the natural beauty of their property!
As you can probably tell immediately, these guys crushed it with their outfits!! I always send out a short & sweet style guide and cross my fingers that it will help inspire some classic & neutral wardrobe choices, and did they ever rise to the occasion! Of course, you can still have beautiful images regardless of what you wear, but it absolutely takes your photographs to the next level when you are intentional like this!
Russ, Daina, Brantly, & Taylor, I loved having this opportunity to meet you all and photograph you as a family! It is so clear that you value your relationships with one another and have a lot of fun together. I hope these pictures warm your hearts for years to come as you reflect on the love you share as a family!
Enjoy a few of my favourites from our time together! I’m excited to delivery your full gallery soon!
