And just like that, they’re married! Andrew and I are so thrilled to have welcomed another sister into the Wilson clan this past weekend!! We always knew that it would take a special lady to keep up with Andrew’s brother David, but Maddy blew away all our expectations! She is the sweetest and fits so well into our family, and together they are such a fun couple and a great fit for each other!!

David & Maddy are both hilarious and have big, sparkly personalities, so it makes sense that their wedding reflected that! One truly unique moment consisted of the “flower boy,” Matt, throwing rose petals from a fanny pack as he strutted down the aisle 😂 Their outdoor reception was also so fun, with tables lined with sweets and cake for everyone to enjoy after the ceremony!

A really meaningful moment, this time on a bit more of a serious note, was watching Andrew get to officiate the wedding of his own brother and sister-in-law. Andrew & David have such a cool sibling relationship that they’ve worked really hard to strengthen over the past few years, and this felt like such a fitting way to acknowledge that. Watching David’s face light up as he walked down the aisle, sharing a laugh with Andrew, was just too precious!

David & Maddy were also super intentional about their photo location, which I loved! They found a beautiful location at Big Mountain Creek Provincial Recreation Area well in advance, which boasts a great view and it was so fun to take their bridal photos there! I was able to go check it out in advance to confirm whether the lighting would work well and I am so pleased it did. Their bridal party pictures and bride & groom photos look like they were taken somewhere way more exotic than just 30 minutes outside Grande Prairie!

David & Maddy, we love you to the moon and back and we are so excited for this next stage of your journey together!! Thank you for the honour of asking us to be so involved in your wedding, we feel so blessed to have been able to contribute to your special day!! We are praying for you and can’t wait to see how God works in and through your marriage. Love you both so much!
