Emily and I have been friends ever since my freshman year of college, where we were roommates!! Emily is such a kind and considerate person, with an incredible memory that would blow your mind. Even though we hadn’t even seen each other for over 4 years, she remembered so many details about our lives, our extended family, and our time at school together!
It was so crazy to think that the last time Emily was in the Grande Prairie area, Andrew and I were only dating and now we’ve been married for almost 4 years! So much has changed that I wasn’t sure what to expect once she came to visit again, but once Emily and I were back in the same room it was almost as if no time had passed at all!
Finally having this session together is extremely fitting because for years Emily has been one of my most avid photography supporters! She is always one of the very first people to see my blog posts and never hesitates to tell me what she loves about them!! She has been such an encouragement to me over the years and never fails to make me smile, so it is so fun that it’s HER up on the blog this time!
Emmie, it was an absolute delight to get to capture these images for you!! I am so happy you were able to come visit Grande Prairie again, and I hope you love your images as much as I enjoyed taking them! I hope these pictures will always serve as a special reminder of the friendships you have up here and that you are very loved!
