What an honour to get to immortalize such a special day in a young person’s life! Ava is my cousin and made the most beautiful graduate; there were lots of laughs and tears from family throughout this session!!
I just love it when clients trust me when it comes to location, posing, etc, and Ava was an absolute model client for that! Throughout the planning stage and the session itself she kept reiterating that she trusted my judgment and was game for anything, and that was a huge honour and SO helpful!! It makes such a difference when you’re willing to follow the vision and see where it leads for your specific photoshoot, it can really make your pictures so unique!
I am also so, so thankful for a friend of mine who agreed last-minute to let us take these pictures in front of their beautiful home! I’ve always been in absolute love with pillars and how they photograph; they instantly make everything feel more luxurious! Especially when Ava told me that she had a green grad dress, I really wanted her to POP in her pictures and not get too lost in greenery and I think we found the perfect way to achieve that here!
