Dawson Creek Wedding

It has been a while since I have had the privilege of creating a wedding blog post! Ethan & Naomi have officially started my wedding season for the year, and I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple to dive back into weddings with! We had an absolutely beautiful day together (mixed in with a little rain for good luck! 😉) which was such a perfect fit for the radiance of these two newlyweds!

I love photographing weddings no matter who is at the altar, but it really is something extra special when you have the privilege of knowing the couple beforehand. Ethan & Naomi’s paths have crossed with mine before, not for very long, but enough that I have always been struck with how kind & considerate they are as people. Their wedding day was no exception; their care and thoughtfulness was so evident throughout, from the start of preparations down to the individual name plates for each person at the reception! For a couple we had all gathered to celebrate on their special day, they sure knew how to make us feel special!! 🥰

And I would be remiss not to mention the beautiful decor and choice of colours. The camera truly loves muted, soft colours and the dusty blue of the bridesmaids’ dresses was just perfect! They also had an incredibly talented friend who did such stunning work on crafting all the bouquets, as well as the maid of honour who made their wedding cake herself! It was amazing to see how so many different details came from people of special importance to them. Truly a team effort, and the overall effect was breathtaking!

Ethan & Naomi, you two deserve the best of everything and I feel so privileged to have gotten to photograph your beautiful day. I hope you truly feel the love from all your friends and family seeping through these images because my goodness, you are so loved ❤️ May God bless you richly as you embark on this new adventure of marriage; it is hard but wonderful and I am so excited to see where He takes you with it!
