Brycen & Elaina hold a special place in my heart for multiple reasons, one being that Elaina is the first girl from my original youth group small group to graduate, head to college, and then get engaged!! It’s so crazy to see your young people growing up and taking on new challenges and adventures, and I couldn’t be happier for them! It seems like only the other day that I was photographing Elaina’s senior session, and now she’s preparing to be a beautiful bride 😭❤️
We had a pretty cold winter day for this session but these guys were absolute troopers! Between a few “coat breaks” where we quickly threw our winter gear back on to heat up for a few moments, lots of kleenex, and a blanket to take the edge off, we were able to minimize the chill and still enjoy the experience haha! We even had a couple of friendly dogs join the festivities for a while, and Elaina obligingly played catch with them to buy us some time to take pictures before they came barrelling back into the shot lol!!
Something so special about this engagement session is that Brycen had just proposed to Elaina only ONE DAY before this! So Brycen & I had the opportunity to scheme and make all sorts of plans ahead of time, and thankfully Elaina was 100% on board with them when she found out! It’s not often that I get to know about the proposal beforehand, so that was such an exciting and fun time to plan together!
Brycen & Elaina, you two make such a beautiful couple in every way and it is an honour to capture the love you have for each other ❤️ I am so excited for your summer wedding and already get a little emotional imagining the two of you pledging your lives to each other! God has wonderful things in store for you!!
