One of my favourite things about being a photographer is getting to document families as they grow and change over the years! Jesse & Andrea are one of those couples and it is crazy to think that the last time I photographed them, it was for their dreamy blossom maternity session! That cute baby bump has grown into a super cute baby boy and he is too precious for words!
Jesse & Andrea’s little boy, Isaiah, is so funny and has such a personality already. He has a healthy obsession with buttons right now so my camera, helpfully covered in a plethora of buttons, was a HUGE hit! Normally children love seeing pictures of themselves on the back of the camera, but to Isaiah that was merely a distraction from his main priority: Pushing the “delete” button as much as possible 😂 I like to think it was merely a coincidence but I guess we’ll never know!
Photo sessions with babies or toddlers are pretty much guaranteed to be a little unpredictable and lively, but Jesse & Andrea took everything in stride so well! With lots of breaks for playing, pushing buttons, snacks, and mild bribery along the way we were able to get so many adorable photos mixed in amidst the wildness!
So many times while I was editing their session I thought to myself: “Okay, this one is definitely my favourite,” only to later declare, “No, THIS one has to be my favourite!!” It was so hard to narrow them down and choose which ones to include in their blog post since I kinda just wanted to post the entire gallery. Because let’s be honest. Who could resist swooning over that adorable little face? 😍
Jesse & Andrea, it was wonderful getting to see you again and capturing these precious moments for you!! You are such kind and gentle parents to Isaiah and it is so special to see the close bond he has with you both! I hope these photos will always remind you of what a precious stage of life this is as you continue to raise your little boy!
