It was such a joy to photograph this beautiful family last week! I have had the privilege of knowing their oldest daughter, Sam, for a number of years now so I was thrilled when she reached out to let me know they were in need of a photographer! Fall is such a stunning time of year to get updated family portraits done and their outfits popped so well amidst the greenery.
Even though the winds were crazy that day, these guys were up for anything and didn’t even mind braving the weather! Thankfully we managed to find a spot at Muskoseepi Park that worked wonderfully with minimal wind and gorgeous light right during golden hour! I was so pleased they agreed to have their session during the last hour of the day before sunset, because having all that golden light reflecting off on the rich yellow and green landscape was just beautiful!
The three siblings made sure that we had plenty of entertainment throughout the entire session, from making faces in the background and shouting ABBA lyrics at the top of their lungs, to making appropriately grossed-out objections whenever their parents showed any physical affection for each other 😂 All in all it was a hilarious evening and I loved every minute of it!
Wideman family, it was wonderful getting to meet you all and photographing the special connections you have together! You have such a beautiful, lovable family and I loved getting to capture that on camera!! I hope you love your photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
