I never get tired of photographing tender moments between family members, and this session was full of them! Brandi and Jayson have such a sweet bond with their son Jaxson and it was absolutely precious! We had such a lovely time together and it was so gratifying to get to capture images that reflect their bond!
The best pictures with children are of happy children, and Jaxson is clearly a very happy boy because we got so many good ones!! He was a little shy of me at first but in no time at all we were fast friends! Kleskun Hills has so many good spots for climbing and adventuring and exploring together, and we made good use of them and bonded over our many discoveries! The time flew by so fast because it was part photoshoot, part adventure trip haha!!
Brandi was super open to both location and timing recommendations, and I am so thankful for that because I LOVE how the light was for their session! Thanks to their flexibility we were able to photograph their pictures during golden hour (the last hour of the day before the sun sets!) when the light gets so glowy, golden, and beautiful! I think you’ll be able to tell in their images that the lighting was just right, as it was so soft and pretty!
Jayson & Brandi, it was such a pleasure to get to meet you and Jaxson and capture these memories for you!! You have such a sweet family! I had so many favourites it was hard to narrow them down but I figured you probably wouldn’t mind 😉 I hope you love them as much as I enjoyed taking them!!
