How sweet are these two?! Jen and I have been working and scheduling for over six months to make this photo session happen, and you wouldn’t believe how many times we were foiled! It almost felt too good to be true when we finally reached their scheduled session date and it WAS still a go!! Fortunately for me though, these two lovebirds were well worth the wait ❤️
Shane & Jen actually got married last year and were originally thinking of doing some winter photos with me as a bit of a wedding announcement, but this session turned out to be more of a “first anniversary” session instead lol!! You can definitely tell that they are still newlyweds because the joy they have from being with each other just radiates from them. Half the time I didn’t even need to finish directing them; I would coach them into a certain pose and then instinct took over and they knew what to do!! 😂 They were such a great couple to photograph, especially considering their awesome flexibility! We were originally planning to shoot their session in a different location, but then I discovered these flowers in bloom elsewhere and they were totally game to switch over last-minute so we could take advantage of them!! It’s the little details like that that can really take a session to the next level!
Shane & Jen, I loved getting to hang out with you both! It was an absolute privilege getting to capture the love you have for each other!! I wish you both all the happiness in the world, and may every year of your marriage be more lovely than the last one!
